Yeah, I read Artemis I could be late Q2 possibly into Q3. In any case, I’m hopeful they get the bugs out sometime this year.

    Nothing like getting it fresh!

Gotta be an interesting story or a scrap metal dumpster used as a burning barrel because it is handy

I've been the guy turning wrenches and spinning valves sending hydrazine but luckily my current job is more of a support role. We provide the propellant handlers ensemble for the technicians, which is what I'm wearing here.
Working in the suit was 5% of my last job. Now I suit other guys up. Much better on the outside.

We occasionally run into this. Best part is when you don't have a shaft, especially nowadays. We'll take thin metal shim stock and center the shaft in the bearing. If needed two decent welds 180° across from each other with an 1/8 7018 rod. Although at the time of day you were doing this and all the sawdust, that's not an option... Now if the shaft is really worn, then we have no option but weld the shaft up, but typically we keep something similar in stock and can cut down if need be...

I'm further away giving the peace sign. These are positive pressure suits that we design, fabricate, pressure check and repair based on Nasa requirements. We also repair, pressure test, certify and fill the bottle of breathing air I'm holding, among other things as well.
