Just purchased 2009 Tacoma Pre Runner with 20,000 miles. Love it.
Putting a oem hitch and put it on and that was not problem but want to wire for a 7-pin connector ever though I probably at this point will not add a brake controller. Having trouble finding the hardware without cutting wires. Anyone can help. Did not come with factory wiring for hitch, hard to believe that a truck like this would not come with a hitch.

Wow. Pretty low miles, thus a pretty rare find.

Tow packages were an option. If the truck didn't come with one, your tow capacity rating is a good bit less. You should be able to run your VIN on the Toyota website just to verify the package isn't there.

It was a find. Pre Runner on top of mileage but it looks like it does not have a tow package.
    Thanks

im not sure if the non tow package ones came with 7pin wiring harness? but the limitation on your tow capacity has more to do with not having a external transmission cooler. One can be added tho.

That is super low miles for 2009! Was it rebuilt?
