Hi all! I have been looking around locally for a rolling tonneau cover that would work on my 2012 Taco with a 6ft bed. I have found several listings for Access Covers in my area, but all are for 2016 onward. Would fit on my truck? I have read that the tailgate on the 3rd gen is higher, which would translate to a gap on my truck, but would that even be true with a soft cover?

I recently installed a tracrac SR on the truck using the how to in this post: https://www.tacomaworld.com/threads/tracrac-sr-installation-on-2014.484321/

The only covers that would work with this have to sit inside the bed and be rolling. After I secure a cover I will probably be replacing the latch with one that locks and is tied to the power locks in the cab.

    Thanks for any thoughts.

The height of the top of the tailgates are different so on the older trucks there will be a big gap. I've also read the top of the beds are shaped slightly different. I have no first hand experience and am only re-writing what I've read here on TW. Someone that's better at searching this forum than I am could probably find that thread.
