Taking advantage of the sunshine we have today, IMG_20220106_141149.jpg

also picked up the tundy calipers today
    IMG_20220106_142657.jpg

Just waiting on McGeorge Toyota to send me the rotors, brake pads, and shims I ordered. Apparently they have all the brake parts I ordered in stock but don't have the fuel sending until or the gas tank strap on hand so I have no idea when that will ship

I'm pretty sure the brake line kit from @turbodb is going to be here before everything else, also id like to say I'm very pleased with the purchasing process from adventure taco so far, very professional and full of info

Okay, 340auto 3.4 supercharged here. Ive had an issue for a while now where if I go WOT in a low gear my trans will shift into neutral.

The 33s deavers and supercharger are probably too much for the wobbly gear lever to hold but anyone have this issue and set up the leaver adjustment to fix this?

Motor and trans mounts are brand new BTW so that not the issue. Ive been thinking that axel wrap is a issue for a while now but I want to try and avoid a custom traction bar to keep everything from moving too much.

    This worked, thanks.

still can’t get the passenger tail out to light up though. Works when I plug it into the drivers side. So that’s cool.

Does anything change if you are in 4x4? maybe if some of the power is pulling up front the back won't have to push so hard. Just thinking of different ways to recreate the problem and possibly narrow it down a little bit

If your passenger tail light is working correctly while plugged into the drivers side I'm betting you need to change the Jumper wire on the passenger side plug.
The passenger side taillight should not function correctly plugged into the drivers side.

Both lights need the Jumper but they don't go in the exact same way. I made that mistake too

Got it all put together and took it for a test drive. Everyting works, except the 4wd light on the dash doesn't come on. It does go into 4wd, just no light. I checked the electrical plug that plugs into the dif and it was tight.

I didn't have time to take the old dif apart, but will. And when I do I will post pictures.

Maybe swap your old dif actuator switch onto the new dif and see if that helps.
