Well I have finally gotten a successful start to my war on chrome on my truck. After failing miserably with my badges I decided to use my remaining Plasti-Dip on my grille surround. I've always though it looked stupid with the chrome billet and chrome surround and this definitely helped.

Painting it (notice the complete lack of masking, I love Plasti-Dip!)

I just ordered some clear corners on Ebay so I din't bother painting the ones I have now. I'll black out the trim on them before I put them on. I also think I'm gonna lose the lower valence all together... And the chrome strip and rear bumper will also be black. If anyone is considering this DO IT! It's super easy and 100% reversible if you end up not liking it.

It's much easier. There's almost no prep work, just wipe everything down with alcohol. It also sticks to everything, so you can just spray it on anything. It's also rubberized and flexible so it won't chip off like paint does.

What's the best thing to use on the door handles? I don't want it to be able to scratch the paint off
