Same day I reply to this I see an article where Colorado is attempting to make it mandatory for blaze orange for bow season

I guess too many people are being shot during archery season. o_O
I mean....it happens, but that's a chance that 99.999% of us are willing to take.

The sad part is that the people making up the shitty rules don't hunt, or know the first thing about it. But they sure think they do.

Conversely, pretty sure Pennsylvania changed their rules for late deer muzzleloader (flintlock only) to no longer requiring Hunter/Florescent Orange during that season at all.

Hi all, I started teaching myself to shoot/hunt with a compound last season, it's been a steep learning curve learning solo but i've enjoyed it quite a bit. I jumped right into saddle hunting (though no kills from the tree yet so perhaps i should say i jumped into saddle sitting in a tree with my bow? lol), I shot my first deer (~80 lb yearling doe) in September of this year after a ~4-500 yard spot and stalk, let a few similar sized deer walk a few weeks later (and still regret that decision but oh well), didnt see much the whole rut and am still very much trying to figure this archery hunting thing out. I'm pretty sure I just screwed up a bunch of hunts with poor wind/tree choices, but learning each time i go out. Season runs through the end of January here in Maryland and my last hunt (saturday) I found a great spot, saw a dozen deer, screwed up two shot opportunities (clipped my freaking release on backwards on a 6 pt buck, let down and re-clipped but missed my window, and just pulled the shot like a target panicking newbie on a doe about a hour later and missed cleanly, which scared off the that one and the other 5 doe that were around my tree for the 45 min before last light), so itching to get back to that spot this saturday as long as the wind is good. hoping to put another one down to close out my second season, now that i've found this thread i'll come back and let you all know how it pans out.

I shot a very very tiny doe the other day, not posting a pic due to the microscopic size of it, but I will post this.
