Meh, I was using the tools I had on hand. After seeing the car infront of me slam into the telephone pole kinda sketched me out. Snow tires in 2wd is better than my all terrains, I'll give you that.

Yeah.....snow tires + LSD + common sense = zero issues for me. Rig was rock solid. I was moving through places others were having problems with.

 

Well since you next door.....did that storm we had yesterday make it to you? I know late last night they said it was losing steam has it moved towards the coast

 

Only got about another 2 inches (no comments required Adam).

 

Well....I guess that's a blessing considering how potent the storm was. But sucks that you had to get any at all.

 

I could have done fine in 2wd just as well, but the truck is more stable with the 4wd on. I've never seen the lack of snow prep this bad since moving back... Factory Goodyears and going bye-bye's here before next winter...

Mark are you done hunting? We can hunt thru Feb here, so if I can get the oil leak in my airboat engine fixed, I may try to go soon.

Not yet. Our snowshoe hare season runs through 3/31 and our Sea Duck season runs through the end of January (I think). I don't Sea Duck hunt much as it's pretty gear intensive and you need a captain license for the ocean. I know some guides who want/need to fill cancellations, and they'll ask me from time to time.
