I bought my parents these snow and ice shields for Christmas from Hammacher Schlemmer, I also got one for myself; You can see that the snow is sort of starting to stick...

 

Mom's Nissan...

 

Dad's Yukon...

 

Dad's Yukon is blue, so it's easiest to see the snow...

 

You guys need a garage!

 

We have one, but while the builder claimed it to be a 2-car, that was a lie; Dad has a GMC Yukon, mom has a Nissan Murano, and I have the Tacoma. Even when the garage isn't cluttered, we can barely fit two of three vehicles in there!

 

There'a the brand name; Rather fitting since I was born in California...

 

It’s a shame house designers these days seem to be mainly women who are great at interior design don’t know the size of average vehicle. A garage can never be too big.

 

Our townhouse in Furlong had a bigger 2-car garage than the 4-bedroom single-family we are in now!

 

sounds like a downgrade to of made that move then! It depends on the builder and what options are available. In general, any cookie cutter home is lacking in garage space IMO. if you want it built to your specs, design and build yourself.

 

It's an upgrade in many ways; Single-family vs. townhome, better neighbors, a real backyard and lower homeowner's insurance costs because it's a single-family and has a built-in sprinkler system as mandated by the township building code.

 

Townhouse also didn't have this view!

 

I would not see any of those as an upgrade other than a single family home and a backyard LOL.

I'd agree to some extent, but my neighbor Ryan installed my backup camera and my entire stereo system basically for free!

 

well keep him around then, bring him a 6 pack. you don’t find people like that too often these days.
