3 if you’re keeping all of that in the truck 24/7, considering the bumper

Just had the Icon stage 8 installed. Truck rides great... no vibes!! Went with the factory setting on the coilovers (2" of lift) and option 2 on the rxt leaf pack. With the weight of a snugtop canopy and 2 bags of sand in the back the rear is 2" higher than the front. I like the factory rake look and expecting to get close to a 1.75" rake after things get settled. Will post a few pictures when the weather gets better. Hub to fender front 22"/hub to fender rear 24".

Hi guys! lookin for some advice… installed my icon leaf pack a couple of weeks ago. at first no squeaks or any noise. now after about 450 miles i’m getting a creaking type of noise on passenger side. it’s not a squeak, but a creak. i’m guessing it’s coming from the shackles? i did go in the sand dunes and after that is when it started to make the noise. only makes that noise when i compress it. thanks!

I got a creaking sound after I went from option 3 to 2. It was on the passenger front bushing. I knew that was the spot because I went under the truck and rocked it and that's where I heard it. I loosened the bolt and sprayed the hell out of it with motorex motorcycle chain lube and with the bolt loose I bounced the truck up and down to work the lube in then I tightened it up. It still creaked but after driving a bit now I don't hear it so I'm guessing the lube worked it's way in some more.

I used Dobinsons greasable shackle bolts for the front and rear of the packs. Stuffed em with some Amsoil grease and haven't heard a peep. Also used leaf liners in between every leaf. I don't off road much but it's always dusty where I live.

Wouldnt hurt to flex it out to release pressure on the leafs, spray it out with a pressure washer to get the sand out, then hit it with some silicone spray or get some grease between them. Would beat removing them and tearing them apart and cleaning them.

thanks for the help guys, but after close inspection and spraying them with silicone spray, i noticed that they are both on backwards… very unfortunate, have to take it back to shop to get it done again

    What?

You might just wanna let the shop know about their mistake and swap them yourself. Not a difficult job if you have a jack and jackstands.

I’ve been researching and I’m pretty sure I’m going to go with these to replace my Icon AALs.

I’m running Bilstein 5160s and will have these set on either 1 or 2. Do I need to get larger bump stops or add a bump stop spacer? Anyone with this set up out there upgrade theirs?

It depends on the compressed length of your shocks compared to stock. If you didn't need them for the 5160s to start with, I do not believe you will need them when swapping in the leaf packs.

The body length of my stock Hitachis was the same as the extended travel 5125s, so I left the stock bump alone. Been flexed out many times since with no issue. Nothing high speed though that would really compress the bump from a hit.

IMO get a UBOLT flip kit looks super clean and bump stops are much larger than stock. I went super bumps but plenty of kits out there to choose from.
