    Hey all,
I've bought this for my 2012 DC LB 4wd:
    • Bilstein 5100's for the front and back.
    • Dobinson's 314's 2" Lift Springs & new bushings
    • JBA UCA's
    • ICON RXT Leaf Packs
Haven't installed any of it yet.

TRD PRO 17" SEMA Wheels & Good year All Terrains -Already On

I have a heavy Northstar Battery, camper shell, Sherpa cab & cap racks on the way, and I'm a big guy 270lbs... Will the Taco Lean still be there after these mods? Do I need a lean spacer? How thick?
I'd rather do it all at once if it needs to be done.
    Thank You

Generally yes, just set the 5100's a notch higher on the driver side and see how it sits. If you don't want to preload differently you can throw a lean spacer on top of the top hat.

With going bigger springs, you might need a very powerful compressor to get it all together, not sure if the standard auto parts store one will work.

The 5100s should really be set at the 0 settings with aftermarket coils.

Why? Unless they design springs different for both sides it will still be uneven.

With a lift coil the 5100s have to be set at zero.( Technically per Bilstein the 5100 isn’t even designed for aftermarket coils, it meant to be used with the factory coil). That’s how they’re designed. If using the factory coils you use the clip settings for lift. Ie. On my truck I have 5100s with 620lb Eibach coils set at 0 and got 3” of lift, if I put that same coil on any of the other settings it would over extend the shock.

Oh. I didn't think about it like that. I went full coilover lift, didn't research custom combos but that makes sense if the springs are longer. In that case the OP will likely want to do a lean spacer.

1/4" spacer on D/S should make it close

Check your cab mounts and especially your front core support mounts.

Often times as was the case with mine a large part of the lean isn't suspension but rather the old worn out mounts being collapsed.

Replaced with polyurethane energy suspension ones and did the larger thicker mounts for the core support.

I cannot answer your question, but I tell you my experiences with my truck. The preload on my coil overs can be adjusted by rotating a threaded collar. Both came with the same preload and I installed them that way. There was a 0.5-1” difference in ride height between the right and left.

I wanted a little more height and decided to try leveling it out as well. I increased the preload on the drivers side. It raised the driver side as expected, but it also raised the passenger side such that it was still higher than the driver side and higher than I wanted. I let some out of the driver side to get it back where I wanted.

To get it perfectly level I think I would have to play with both sides and maybe also the rear. The lean doesn’t bother me. I don’t even notice it unless I measure it. So I likely won’t do anything.

Negative, that's a top hat for the coil/shock.

I'm talking about the actual bushings that go between the body and frame.

@Key-Rei How much work was that? Sounds like it would be difficult to do

It's not too hard, effectively it's only like 6 bolts.

Loosen them all up get a jack lift the body up near the one you're changing completely removed it then the bushings/bodymount grease up the new ones slide them in put the through bolt back in and start the nut once you have all of them changed out make sure the body is lined up and torque to spec then you're done.

If you use the thicker ones with the included washers for the front core support and flip the body mount ones upsidedown you can achieve a 1/2" body lift still looks factory but gives you just a hair more tire clearance.
