    Looks liek t

That post looks full of valid questions with no responses.

Here is one of the questions:

On my install we reinforced all of the mounting points in the LCA as well as the UCA and coil buckets. In addition to completely boxing the rear frame and adding substantial cross members mid and rear. I'll find some pics to post later.

There is another question about wheeling with 37+ tires on rocks. I would not recommend doing this without a crawl box.

No one is asking about having to chop the front end up to clearance tires for travel, probably because the marlin website makes it seem like you don't need to.

I ordered in Feb 2021 (I like how the year is important at this point) and there was no deposit option. You paid in full and I was not aware the kit was not yet shipping. Received 6 months later.

So wait... You're telling me, you have to pay up front on this kit?

So, there are people that have paid in full, and have been sitting on a waiting list, watching these influencers jump the line on them?

Forgive me, I'm not familiar with the details of the RCLT kit, and the ordering process for it.

Yes, when I ordered there was no indication that the kits were not ready to ship. There is someone on here who got his kit after 9 months. I am sure others are waiting.

It will give you more control at a lower speed so you are less likely to break things.

    WOW

Well, I'm glad you got your kit, for sure. I'm sorry, but I would never even consider sending cash to a company like Marlin... for anything.

I wonder how many people have ordered the kit. I mean with supply chain issues, material shortages, costs of material going up TREMENDOUSLY. If he's robbing Peter to pay Paul, things might just finally catch up with Marlin. They have ALWAYS been extremely slow, and very unresponsive (reasons I would never consider sending them money)

But with this landscape... I often kind of wonder if we are watching a slow moving train named Pelfrybuilt 2.0

Yeah I didnt realize there was an issue until I had ALL the other parts read. New axles, wheels with the correct backspacing, coilovers, steering rack, etc. At that point it was too far to turn around, so all I could do was wait.

Would have been nice to get their 3-link kit before they imploded!

Totally get that man. A lot of the time our builds have a lot of moving parts and pieces to get collected to get the project going. I'm trying to bag on you for having ordered the kit, at all.

Like I said, I'm really glad you got your shit. And I hope everyone else, that has ponied up cash, does too.

I just can't believe there is so much lack of self awareness (on the part of Marlin) that they are flaunting the influencers and their kits while there are a bunch of people sitting there waiting, having spent their hard earned money up front.

No offense taken. I am glad I got the kit, wish things were more transparent. The wait was brutal and highly distressing.

    I can only imagine.

I had had a set of Fox coilovers on order last year. Paid in full, direct from a Fox distributor. Took 23 weeks to get them. For the first 15, or so, weeks, I couldn't get a straight answer from anyone on what the F was going on. Finally I got in touch with the Corporate Sales Manager for Fox. (cool dude actually) He told me the facts... wasn't necessarily Covid, it was more to do with they were moving their manufacturing facilities from CA to GA. (I pretty much picked the worst damn year in history to order the coilovers) Once I spoke to him though, everything was good.

But... dealing with Marlin, you aren't dealing with someone who is known for being up front and honest (personally, I think Mike is a straight shady fuck.... but I digress). So you didn't have the benefit of any real communication. On top of that, the RCLT put a bunch more cash out than I put out on those coilovers.

Either way, glad it sorted out. And I hope it sorts out for everyone else... And hopefully that kit will crush the boulders like Mike says it will.

Too late for that now. We did a custom SUA setup which gives 14" of travel with no holes in the bed:
