    its about 100lb wash with the stock stuff removed as it sits in that pic.. but the shit I'm adding onto the bumper will bring it back up to that ~400lbs.

    Thats where I wanted to save the most weight as well. I ended up being patient and scored a Aluminum Pelfrey plate bumper from a local member for a steal.. and it included the 9k Smittybilt winch. definitely saving weight there. the dual battery setup will add some to that though.. but I'm ok with that.

    All of your guys Super Pacific builds look awesome. My deposit spot is finally ready for production but unfortunately after waiting all this time I am unable to go through with purchasing the switchback. So my loss is someone else's gain I guess! If anyone is interested in buying my deposit spot (original deposit date of 6/18/2021) you could potentially have your Super Pacific installed on your rig as early as late February. Current lead times are about a year out right now.

    2003 1 5/8” lift, 235-85r16 BFG KO2, ARB Bull Bar, Warn M8000, sliders, Snugtop; 2015 Hefty Fab al bumper and sliders, Warn Zeon 10k, Rago bed stiffeners,
    Just put my 75% down today to start my build! “12-14 weeks out build cycle”. Not sure if that means it will be finished then or they will start the build then.

    You guys talking of weight, I have started my weight spreadsheet. Currently my 2015 DC short bed weighs 4,300 with the only additions being a Toyota bed mat, Rago stiffeners, driver’s seat risers, Husky floor mats, and the rest stock. I will be weighing it as the build progresses. This month I should get the sliders, aluminum bull bar, and Warn 10k Zeon installed.
    I am waiting to determine the suspension until I get the SP on. Projected weight is approximately 5,900 lbs fully rigged, wet, and with two people on board. We shall see!

    Same. Might go by this weekend actually since I finally have everything on the truck. Leaf spring re-arch is scheduled in a couple weeks.

    Here's an idea that I've been playing with and built up a Beta out of wood today. The slides will be shortened so it lays vertically and the shelf will be made from HDPE. The wood blocks I'm banting about with either aluminum or PVC Foam Board or similar. The shelf would be able to be opened inward and outward. What type of interest in something like this do you all have?

    I like the idea of having a table that sticks out to cook on rainy days. I'd like to flip around and be usable on the inside when the doors are closed. I'm not sure what the mounting hardware would look like, but imagine coming up with a pair of brackets that look like shelf supports, but fold down flat onto the table. I'd like the table and brackets to store on the door when not in use. My install is still at least a month out... Once it happens, the true madness begins.

    Interested to see what you come up with. I've been toying with a few ideas for a table that would hang off the side of the bed since moto or bike usually blocks the tailgate for cooking.

    My food/cooking storage and fridge live on passenger side of the bed though so I don't want to block that, nor do I want my stove that high when cooking.

    I think I just need to get a table that is faster to unfold. I'm lazy and will just eat junk food if I'm tired and don't feel like setting up my stove/table. I've been hanging out at trailheads/picnic areas more if there is a picnic table available to cook on.

    I've secured a built spot and will be putting down my 75% soon!
    ===
    I'm finalizing my color choice and I was wondering if anyone has collected any temperature data in the camper while driving in different conditions (hot & cold)? Curious to know if black vs. gray, etc makes much of a difference. === I have two dogs that I'd like to secure and transport in the back (I do this in my current ARE shell but it was a slider front window, slider/screened side windows, and I run a little house fan off the bed outlet on hot days) but I'm worried about temperatures in the SPC without any venting built in when closed. Curious to know if black vs. gray, etc makes much of a difference.
    ===
    Also assembling my pre-install checklist and must dos - like sealing (front corners, tailgate, bed rails/caps), brake light wiring, and asking for some extra wiring plates with cutouts and extra tie down clamps on install. Lots of great resources in here for these!

    I'm much less clear or knowledgeable about suspension upgrades - My 17 Tacoma TRD Sport DCLB is stock now. I do transport a Moto on a hitch rack so I'm looking at ~375-400lbs or so for that rack + bike, then the addition ~350-400 with the camper. Any suggestions about suspension changes?
