I see that bottle of Weller's tucked away nicely! I too have become somewhat obsessed with bourbon as well.

I've driven there multiple times and different ways, each time a new flavor. Driving from Deep Creek through the National Forest is even worse than the way from Cass! Definitely need some good tires, possibly chains, and a reliable vehicle. One year, in our POS 2003 Expedition, we made it all the way to the top from Cass when the tranny decided to blow up for the third time. Suffice to say it turned into a very expensive trip to Snowshoe!

Yeah, this is exactly why we didn't take our older highlander. Despite it never giving us a problem (2010 Hybrid), not chancing it out there.

What it this snow/winter you all speak of? :D

Kidding of course...just reading through the past several pages (been a busy week), and you all have had some interesting weather for sure! Hope everyone is doing ok! Going to side with @Mojo Jojo though...I do love it when it snows, and I actually miss the cold weather.

NOVA probably got more snow in the last week than all of last year, maybe even 2 years combined :)

I don’t think I could have worded that any better. Reminds me the big snows we got in 2009-2011ish . We got like 3 feet of snow in nova…was insane.

I just switched to KM3 M/Ts, but I had the Wildpeaks and they were great.
Someone needs to apply for a position at the National Park Service!

That was fun! I was in Arlington during that and remember they had nowhere to put the snow and dumped it in the Potomac and filled the baseball field behind the library in Clarendon with it. It was like a 15 by 200 foot mountain that stayed there for a month

planning out an air system for my compressor to air up tires and an eventual arb locker, and all these nickel and dime fittings are making the $600 arb compressor with all the goodies included look really good

    I have this one I think. https://www.viaircorp.com/oba/oba-constant

Also, have yet to do anything with it (lazy). If you are building a tank style. I have an old pancake compressor with a 3 gal. tank (I think) you can have to build off of for air storage. Might be hard to find a spot to mount but could also work too.

Thanks, I already have a smittybilt 2781, and I really want to integrate a pressure switch into the system. Then, I don't have to turn it off when it's screwed onto the valve stem to check the pressure, and instead use a regular tire gauge without popping the overpressure switch every time I let off the trigger. Not really an expert yet, but I've been watching some vids on the tube trying to learn up and this is where I've come

As for the tank, I was going to avoid a tank and just use a manifold as the "tank" where I plumb everything in. I was thinking with a big tank, then theres more volume to pressurize when inflating the tires and that might increase time. But a tank would also be a good buffer to prevent the compressor from constantly cycling from the eventual arb seal degradation I hear of. I dunno, just thinking off the top of my head

If you’re planning on adding air lockers then the arb is worth it. It all integrates so seamlessly, mainly the wiring.
