Is there a new update for our units

 

Current version seems to be from 11/11/2021 and it allows for wireless android auto. This is only for the android 10 versions of the unit. If you have the older version like me then the most recent update is from april 2020.

 

But don't we have Android 10 hu?

 

Some of us do. I have android 8 unit since I got the first version. You have to check what version of android you have as the early and mid ones had 8, the newer ones have 10.

Yea you should be good as long as you pick the right file. I will need to buy a new unit to get the update. I might pick up a new unit next summer.

 

I'm definitely wanting to go to the bigger display I think the 11" display

Has anyone found a recovery mode for these head units, or to flash a recovery like TWRP?
I feel like I should take a full backup of the existing OS before I try to flash the updated software in case I inevitably flash the wrong ROM file and brick the thing...lol
