My spending spree would mostly be truck and garage related. If I move to another state, because illinois sucks, I'd buy some land and have like a 1000 square foot house built and a massive shop built
I did quit for 9 months and then was doing a engine swap on a friend's 07 silverado, it was terrible and we kept running into issues and hitting major setbacks and was also dealing with shit on my truck and car and finally broke down. Quitting for me right now is probably not a great idea currently. Last year was a big emotional roller coaster and I'm still not in a great place mental health wise.

$10.78. If I still smoked Marlboros I'd be going through at least 2 packs a day. Maybe more

Yes it is. I was spending even more on cigs when I was still with the ex. You know because she didn't even try to work most of the time so she either bummed my cigs or I was buying her a pack

I stuck to it because I heard it gets even harder the second time. Over 5 years, and I still want a cigarette sometimes. I haven't had a single drag. But, I buy cheap cigars on occasion. And, I have a corncob pipe that I keep in the 4Runner.

Sounds like you're in a better place now. I just ended a 21 year relationship last year. It's been difficult and confusing. I hope everything turns out good for you!

It always starts as just 1. I was lucky to see others go through that. I knew "just 1" could pull me back in.

We were together for about 6ish months. Moved too fast honestly and I had also lost my mom shortly before we got together so I didn't really have much of a grieving period, I'm still processing losing her, people say it gets easier but it really hasn't and I lost her in March, I'm just getting used to her not being here anymore but that empty feeling I have will never go away. Looking back the ex was toxic AF, got together with a dude about a month or so after we broke up and she is currently about 2 months pregnant. I dodged a big bullet

I should've known better. But I'll live with the consequences for now until I know I'm ready to quit. Too much stuff to deal with right now

Fantastic thank you for asking. Between the ground clearance, AWD, snow tires, remote start, heated mirrors/rear windshield/bottom of front windshield it's been a winter machine. Gas mileage isn't very good compared to most cars but compared to the the tundra it's great.

Man, I'm really sorry to hear about your Mom. I can't even imagine what that's like.

As far as the girl, it's a good thing you moved on. It's tough to leave someone you care about, even when you know you should.

Definitely wasn't a kind year for relationships. Mine ended last Feb (left me day before my birthday in the middle of a blizzard. Lovely lol) and another Taco buddy just had his wife leave him out of the blue. Yeesh.

Had a guy at work last night ask me if I used to be a smoker, since I'm always twiddling things in my fingers and always chewing on something. Never had a drag in my life lol, but Lord knows if I ever started it would be bad news bears

    Thank you!

On the earlier subject, would you be interested in an "up north" parking lot meet? I know you're in the northern zone. :)

Thanks guys. It's a terrible feeling. All I can say is cherish them because you never know when you'll lose them. Lost her on a fluke. Went to the hospital on a sunday night and was rushed to surgery because they found a hole in her stomach and she went Septic/sepsis. Surgery went well but they didn't realize she had a stroke until later that week that hit the whole left side of her brain. We took her off the ventilator and lost her the following Sunday. There are days it feels like it was just a bad dream. I honestly should've broke up with the ex even sooner honestly.
I would love to get one of the new Outbacks. They look mint. The new foresters are just too big for my taste. I have an 03 wrx wagon shitbox
