Here's my theory as to what happened; I was in very commercialized areas with lots of retail establishments, and a lot of people like went on their lunch breaks. These people generally don't tip well and sometimes don't tip at all; As you can see above, the customer wasn't far from Dunkin Donuts. However, the blue circle represents my location and I wasn't like right there. I will take a secondary order on top of an existing order of $7 or more if it's at least $4.50 and the distance isn't too far, but no way in hell I'm rolling for $5.50!

 

The second order was from the same Dunkin and going to the same general area, but again I will not roll on a single order for less than seven bucks...

 

This was more than likely someone on their lunch break who didn't feel like walking or even driving to Wawa, and was expected me to roll for less than $5...

 

Again, I refuse to go to Walmart...

 

And then I almost took this one until I saw two different restaurants on the order; $7.50 is a good payout for one order, but two...?

I will not roll on two orders for less than $10.50, and even then it is contingent on how far I have to drive; On top of that, the restaurants were pretty close, but look how far both houses were!

 

What I learned today is that early afternoon in the Warminster area is not a good time to dash if you actually want to make money; 8am-11am, 12pm-2pm, and anytime after 5pm have been the most profitable times for me!

 

Back in the 80s when l delivered pizza, Friday and Saturday evenings had the most deliveries and tips.

Even though restaurants are allowed to basically return to normal, the Coldstone Creamery in Warrington still doesn't allow indoor dining or allow the public to use their restrooms...

 

And I actually accepted this dual order because, despite being form two different places, they are both going to the same guy!

 

These are the type of orders I don't accept...

New foglights are even better for lighting the way at the homes of DoorDash customers who forget to turn on the front porch lights than the old ones!

I picked up two orders from the same bagel place where the owner flipped out on me for driving over her illegally placed wheelchair ramp last April; I never heard back from her about paying to replace it, and I even saw the same wheelchair ramp that I bulldozed have with my then-new Cooper Discoverers in use once during the summer!

 

Jeez, do some drivers actually accept these lowball orders?

 

My truck, parked not far from where I bulldozed the ramp less than a year ago; I was practically face to face with the woman who bitched at me back in April, but I had an N95 mask on, so she didn't seem to recognize me!

 

I HATE picking up from the Chipotle in Doylestown, but I don't mind the one in Montgomeryville/North Wales too much; However, this was one of those insultingly low payouts, so I declined it...

 

Same Chipotle, and not a horrible payout, but still below the $7 minimum payout I require...
