****** I have measured and designed the MOLLE panels for the extra cab and double cab. Thanks to all those who helped!
The extra cab will be continuously stocked starting April 15 2022 and the double cab available upon request
    Please PM to order

    UPDATE #2
I have accepted a job that requires me to live outside the US for a few years. All MOLLE Panel products are now being sold by UnderLand Off-road

    Hello!

I am looking to expand my current offering of rear seat MOLLE Panels to 1st gen Tacoma owners.

Only issue is I need an access cab and single cab 1st gen to take measurements of.

I am offering you $75 for each visit to my shop.

    How it works:
    1. PM me with the year, model, and color of truck you have.
1a. Why color? The 3d scanner will not work well with black surfaces.
    2. Schedule a time to meet at my shop in Santa Ana (55 freeway and Edinger)
    3. Remove your rear storage bins/plastic covers (see pics below)
    4. I will measure and 3D scan the
rear portion of the cab interior. (Takes about 30 min total)
    5. You get $75!

From here I will model a panel in CAD and manufacturer a prototype. (3-4 weeks)
If you are willing to return so I can test fit the panel I'll pay another $75.

With the 3d scanner the 1st prototype usually fits so it's an easy $75 for you!

    OR

    A FREE MOLLE panel

    Models I currently need: NONE

The prototypes are finished for the Xtra cab and double cab!

Here is what I will need your truck to look like (all plastic and/or storage removed)
*This is a 2nd gen just for reference
    Screenshot_20220106-070426-679.jpg

NOTE: It is not required to remove the lower portion of the rear seats but does make the measuring process easier.

Here is what a finished panel looks like

It took me 30 min to disassemble my storage bins so I figured $100/hr was a fair rate.

I understand if not everyone is willing to do that.

    Thanks for your feedback.

I'd be interested in buying one of these once you get everything figured out. Hope you can find someone willing to help!

I think you will find that you won't be able to maintain rear seat functionality in the double cab. They'll probably need to be removed to even fit something like that in there, or you can go in front of them which would require a bulkier offset.

Ya... probably fine for the time actually being on site, but he'd have better luck reimbursing travel time also.

I figure the $50 is for disassembly time and the discount on the product will be for travel/time at the shop.

I'm not in Socal but I can do some measurements for you for free. Just let me know what needs to be measured.

Yeah, there's just hardly any room behind the seats in the 1st gen DC's. I'm sure you could get the mole rack to fit, but I can't see anything fitting on it that's more than an inch thick with the seats up. Especially at the top near the headrests. The seats touch the rear of the body.

+1. I would take one of these for my xtracab when available. Unfortunately, you're on the wrong side of CA or I'd help out.

Well, either that or you might just help someone out because it's okay to be generous. If it's too little compensation for you it's probaby a good thing you aren't interested.

I can definitely see the access cab being a better fit for a Molle panel like this. I'm hoping I can make a panel that fits both AC and DC for those who want to delete the rear seats in thier DC

Haha I mean who needs passengers!?
When everyone is asking who will drive the "I only have 2 seats" excuse always works lol

To be frank, I rarely have passenger and when we go out on a trip, the seats are coming out.

I have a 5lug xtracab I can possibly bring in to help you. I'm sure the lifted and pickup versions should be the same.
