When I moved to VA I was involved in some hoodrat stuff... Surprisingly, Oklahoma was pretty bad too as far as gang activity. But the worst hotel I ever stayed at was in Texas. Hair in the tub, smears on every surface like they used an oil based wood cleaner for everything including glass, the shower head popped off so I didn't shower because I couldn't hose off the nastiness or put the shower head back on, and I used my sleeping bag on top of the bed. Was driving for 18 hours, I was too tired to fight about it. Came out the next morning and my F150 was missing a rear bumper and the drivers side tail light/bed was destroyed. They seriously hit the truck and then stole the rear bumper. I drove the rest of the way to CA with one tail light and the other side had red tape on it. Duck tape for everything else. Oh, I was also left a note with a phone number for someone that no habla'd engrish. Was a great experience.

Former Okie here. There’s a reason for the gang stuff especially in South OKC. I saw a documentary a few years back. Apparently families fled the LA gangs and ended up bringing a lot of gang members with them cause they were family members.

Recently there’s been a lot of gang activity around illicit grows in the more rural areas.

 

My wife made some cherry crumble stuff (the stuff that's so sweet it's kinda gritty) but I wanna lose about 4-5 pounds so I looked at it and walked away

Yep. Big west coast rap scene and gang scene in OK. Saw a lot of shit. First place I ever had a gun pulled on me. Razor blades on school busses... also saw a lot of race related fights.

But I'd move back in a heartbeat. Why? Cheap. lol. Adulting sucks. I look pretty good in red too. I just checked rent there and gas prices as well. So much cheaper than everywhere else in the nation. Anyways...
