    I have two buddy’s that have manuals that stop by to have me work on their rigs. I can’t believe how sloppy and notchy their transmissions feel to me now.

    Did you guys do anything to clean up the plastic chrome piece at the top of the boot? I'm probably overthinking it but that was the thing that stood out to me as looking a little junky without the factory knob filling the gap to it

    You can crush it or put a rubber washer over it. I left mine alone because I’m not that OCD. Nobody riding with me has said shit about it because they don’t know any better.

    Probably a picture of an FJ, I believe they all had manual shifters. I know the TRD Off Road 4Runners still have them too, my wife's friend just bought a 2021 and I was surprised to find it in there when I was showing her how to use 4WD before it snowed.
