Canes come back from 0-4 deficit to beat CBJ 7-4, scoring 7 goals straight with 5 goals in the third. Biggest Canes comeback since 1989 when they were the Hartford Whalers coming from a 4 goal deficit to beat Montreal 6-4. Awesome game!

Yeah I’m not woofing’ about ‘89 too much though I believe the Habs ended up sweeping the Whalers in the playoffs that year lol. I did have the pleasure of being in Montreal when the Canes beat them in the early 2000s
Funny thing is a lot of people didn’t even know where the canes played, TV sometimes said they were in Charlotte lol. and NC not being a big hockey state then many didn’t even know we HAD a team until they won the Stanley Cup 2006. They know now though as does the rest of the world.

 

How long till the Oilers fire Tippett ?

The Oilers don't stick with anything long enough IMHO. How many trades have they lost now? How many GM changes have they made? Nothing will change when they keep trading down to try and surround their two stars with more mediocre or past their prime talent.

If they had of kept their picks several years ago and not made some really terrible trades they would look totally different right now. That being said what's done is done, and they should either blow it up or at least try to stay the course as painful as it will be.

Yeah the Kings have had that problem for the last five years. I think they’ve learned their lesson. I don’t know about Quick though he’s playing pretty dang good. He does have his moments.

I looked to see what time the Pittsburgh-Philadelphia game started only to see it's another one of those on ESPN+. Talk about the NHL trying their best to discourage interest. The Pens were shut down for 2 weeks, have returned to play two since, and right when I am getting into watching them again, there is no game to watch, unless I wish to be pay a ransom to watch.

Speak for yourself. The games on ESPN+ are the only ones I can actually watch since most carriers don't have Bally Sports anymore.

 

I will. I pay a monthly fee to the cable company for the privilege to watch AT&T Sports Pittsburgh, then the NHL agrees to have ESPN carry some games exclusively. My AT&T Sports monthly fee did not go down. It may have gone up. So the NHL is collecting from both now. That is being greedy and not fan friendly. They did not need to make certain games ESPN+ exclusive, except that they let ESPN grab them by the balls and twist.

 

By the time I pay for AT&T to get the same channels I'm getting through my current provider I'm paying $20 per month more and don't get to pause/rewind live TV (near as I can tell). Not worth it for one missing channel in my opinion. Sad, but true. I thought about the NHL.com subscription but they black out my local games anyway so it isn't worth it.

As for ESPN plus, I have the Disney bundle. Not sure what streaming platforms you have but I figured it was the same price as Netflix except I get 3 for that same price. Plus I never watch Netflix so I cancelled that.
