For Virginia, that's real snow. It'll close schools for a week and cause mild panic at the grocery store.

I'm originally from Michigan. Plenty of real snow, using road graders and front loaders to remove real snow that I know longer care to shovel.

We were just there a couple months ago and I'd say a stock 4x4 could make it there, no big deal. Most of the road is hard packed, but gets bumpy rocky the last 10 miles or so. Of course, if wet, all bets are off.

Thanks for that info - and by stock I mean stock tires too - don't have the money ( i lie like a rug ) to buy another set of A.T.'s ...
Gonna have to wait for these to wear out first... so if stock tires could make it looks like an area I'd love to check out, bring my
    camera, tripod, etc.

I was living in Marion VA for awhile. We were supposed to get hit with a huge snow storm. Well it missed and buried Roanoke with 2’ of snow. They didn’t move for a week and then it took them another week to get out and get things going. Totally crazy. The use storms out there are no joke either.

The snow is at the top of the bed.

I am unsure of if you are joking or not. So if you aren’t, then here’s another view.
