Same. Should be rolling 155K this week sometime. Wally World had the 5 Qt Jugs of the HM 5W-30 for $19.99. I bought several. Was there buying some of the winter Purple Rain-X washer fluid. Seems like they're the only place that sells it around here. Guy at Advanced Auto said Wally World signed some exclusive agreement with Rain-X.

My wife has a 2013 Hyundai Santa Fe that just did that 6 months ago at 130K miles. Hyundai put a new short block it under warranty. Service manager stated many of these units had bad machining from the factory and they covered everything.

Good Morning Stockers. Weather threw a curve here as well. Not a bit of snow but extreme cold. Then Last night the temps rose to high 30’s with rain. Big deal. Except the roads were still 15 degrees. Ended up with an ice glaze on everything Ventured out at one point it looked like an apocalyptic film with all the cars on the side of road at odd angles and no one moving. Frightening sh*t. Put it in 4 lo and got home. Still slipping an sliding. Odd event. Be safe!

The roads are nice and rock salted, but everybody's driveways are a sheet of ice. Seems my laziness paid off as the leftover snow provided traction, no problem :D

That "laziness" is a tactic I leverage when I see a forecast that calls for freezing rain following snow. Let it act like a sponge.

Haha. You don't want this stuff. Despite most of it being makeup juice, this engine is really tough on oil. Serious dilution issue. What comes out is thin and fuel heavy.

I'm just gonna be lazy and pay the dealer $80 to do mine... :spy:

I did decide to get off my lazy ass and pressure wash the shit off the truck. Also don't want to take a completely filthy truck into service. The touchless with the undercarriage spray is broken so I had to roll around on the ground myself. Don't know what's in the pre-treat, but it knocked the crud off.

I'll have to bring the floor mat inside and scrub it in the tub

Doing good. Damn sloppy day here. Started out in the upper 40s and rain, so the snow is gone. But we've dropped 10° since this morning. Supposed to be 18° by morning. So the potential for all this water freezing is real.

Got the kid's boyfriend's Sante Fe done. Oil, tire rotation. Also, found the cabin filter missing. Could've sworn I had checked that in the last year+. But maybe not. Also, it needed front brake pads. But I knew that was coming from the previous oil change.

Thankfully O'Reillys had the pads in stock. Autozone, Advance Auto, NAPA didn't. Picked up a Microgaurd cabin filter too.
