I lost some respect for Nate on this one, not that he really cared either way. He jumped on this bandwagon without any research. I reached out to him and gave him all the links to here, showed him my emails I had a yr before even the preorder came out asking to join for first run kit. As well as a bunch of other threads about the lack of support with the taco box and other products. He never replied back or acknowledged my concerns and stated why he's still willing to partner with them. I get the influencer thing and how they can get free shit and sponsors for builds I'm not bitter nor blame him for that, it's the principal with it and this company that did it for me. When Barnes, Ruffstuff, Artec, etc sponsor his builds no prob they've proven to try and push the best CS and work with their customers long before getting a bunch of crap to influencers. Some of the companies these influencers deal with if you call them and say hey I need xyz part asap my rig is down and broke and I want to wheel by next weekend or whatever they'll rush it out to you the same they would their race team or influencers. MC has yet to even come close to meeting that standard.

When questioned on here about the sudden change in rack without notice as well as other things when mike would make posts it seemed as though he never went back and answered those questions but others. A lot of smoke was blown with his posts, and now he hasn't hoped on here at all to even make any sort of effort to right the ship.

    Rant over.

As far as LT kits go JD Fab (who I went with) has the closest to what MC produced otherwise it's all custom which I've seen some well done ones in person. Maybe one of those guys will actually get with a company or start up a company and produce a more rock crawling oriented LT kit and do what's right by customers.

    Mods? Yes, oh yes..
We need to return the favor of Marlins participation by stopping talking about them, posting links and referencing products. The more things are said (good or bad, etc) the more it keeps their name floating around and that helps them. *any PR is good PR*

We are enabling their behavior by reacting to it. Search engines, ads, keywords don't care about what is being discussed. Marlin is like the uncle who never calls, shows up late and drunk to your bday party and didn't bring a gift....quit inviting them back to the party.

I actually really like that channel. And Nate seems to be pretty knowledgable, and pretty cool.

But I'm losing a LOT of respect for him and his channel with this.

He may not want to hear it, but I think those who have had negative experiences with Marlin and especially RCLT should make comments on Nate's series of videos. Comments with details.

I understand the theory of don't react to Mike/Marlin because it drives traffic and puts it more out there because "negative clicks is better than no clicks"

But with that theory, the only feedback people who don't know about Marlin only see the good comments made by Mike, his buddies, and a bunch of influencers that got their shit for free.

Nope but I just posted a comment that's sure to ruffle a lot of the MC fanboys and Nate's feathers.

Oh I didn't watch the video I just commented on the Fanboys and company itself. I could care less about the install
I've already seen the kit next to several other kits and it's not as impressive as the hype.

My thought on all of this is handing the kit to influencers is only going to sink the ship faster. It will drum up A LOT more interest but they will continue to have delivery struggles. And we all know what happens when companies can't deliver a product. What if 2,000 people order kits?

If there is legit background buddy stuff going on (which is just hearsay at this point I think) hooking up influencers before paying customers then that's not right at all.
