And a super frustrating one if it turns out not to match the rear...took two tries with mine, unfortunately. This looks great!

Installed my fresh Diode Dynamics SSC2 Floods in the rear. PnP easy with the 2 harnesses. Switched so they run on reverse lights, backlit when headlights are on, or turn on anytime you need tons of light back there.

Looks good. I'm waiting for Spring to install mine. Is the backlight part of the plug and play harness, or did you need to splice for those?

Mine aren't quite as dark as the rear but I prefer them that way. I can see well enough at nigh not to have to roll down the window.

Totally PnP. There's a Taco specific harness that plugs into the taillight (reverse light/headlight) and then into the DD pods. Then you'll need the universal harness that has a relay and a switch built in. There's a connection on the taillight end of that harness and you'll unplug the section that has 2 open ended bayonet connections. That won't be used. Plug the Taco specific harness in to that and that's it for the back of the truck. Run the rest of the spaghetti up to the engine compartment for connection to power. I have a Power Tray so it plugs in there. There's a lead from that into the cab for a switch if you so choose. You can leave the switch on POS 1 if you just want reverse lights. POS 2 will turn on the pods anytime. Center POS will just kill the pods all the time.

I'm connecting to a 3 POS OEM switch in the left side interior Meso panel. That's next!

Might want to consider a location closed to the hitch. I have sratches on the underside of my bumper very close to that location due to contact with the ground.

Do you have any sound clips of the R4T dumped exhaust? It's supposed to be deep, but not raspy.

I don’t . It’s definitely deeper. Reminds me of alittle bit quieter ecoboost raptor

Certainly a possibility. I bought mine with flush mount bezels as that was the direction I was going. I went as far as to pull off the bumper caps to size up the template for mounting. There's a lot of composite structural support in that area that needs to be cut away to allow ample rear clearance and that's not what stopped me but adjustability of aimpoint did. Our bumpers aren't quite square with the world and unless I shimmed the bezel, you'll have a slight off to the side focal point. Probably not such a big deal with a flood lense but it donned on me that having some adjustability would be a good thing so I took the easy route.

How have you liked it? Not many reviews over a period of time just install and initial impressions, still holding up?

Looks great! I’m anxiously awaiting the arrival of mine. There will be a small pucker factor with my install though, as I plan to flush mount into the bumper.

Finally installed the OEM tailgate lock which was generally straight and easy except a 2017 must differ a little from newer years. The how-to video watched said to run the wires for the lock along the existing wires for the camera that run down the passenger side of the truck....except, at least on mine, there are no wires running along the passenger side under the truck... ¯\_(ツ)_/¯ So I just ran it down and in some places through the frame until I got where I needed to go. Then I topped things off with a SnailArmor tailgate panel which was an impulse buy late one night a week or so ago after seeing RobMotive install one and he had a discount code. :D

It still smells like chemicals to the point I took it off my truck and stuck it in the corner of the garage. I’ll probably give it away at some point and buy a reputable one. Bummer, but lesson learned.

DSCF1005.jpg Still waiting Soft Topper would not even answer my emails I just gave up after the 5th one I sent! Been about 30 plus days now with FED-X only 1290 miles away to start probley get it in 2-3 more days going 120 miles? I did wash the Ice out of my bed after shoveling out all the snow. Then parked it in my building I use for my tractor so it is ready to have the top put on if it gets here this coming week? Sad there Ad is so misleading is 2-3 weeks lead time for back orders. Ordered it in October so a little longer then that of a wait? Never had a company do this to me before!!! I ordered a $2300.00 Snow Pusher blade off EBay from back East a couple days ago. It weighs 690 lbs coming by Freight Truck from Indiana. Day after I bought it they sent me a Tracking number and it is haft way here might even beat my $900.00 35 lb top I ordered? No reason for this at all in my mind. I am being nice in how I say this here not how I really feel#@% If asked I will be sure to let anyone know how I was treated and shipping time it took to get here! Got a break in our snow cleaned up the place too!
