We woke up one morning and over coffee decided to go down to Tennessee, get the test and then across the street to the JP "Boots" in his living room with Mrs Boots as the witness, we took the plunge. She didn’t desert me or take my kids, we just weren’t compatible. It ate me alive and for a while I went into a very self destructive state. One day last April I had used a vacation day so I could sit alone and drink. My neighbor, who is a good friend, came over and made me get off my ass to go with him to the music festival in town that night. I walked about 30 yards in the gate and saw the most beautiful woman I’ve ever known in my life. It was a girl that I dated before I married and she was always the one that got away. We clicked immediately, like there was never a day between, it had been over 16 years since we ran into each other casually.
