You know, if you don't have an air compressor I'd strongly recommend the Lincoln Tomahawk plasma cutter.

We use the shit out of ours at school, and there are a ton of students that really don't take care of equipment (or know how to).

That thing cuts and cuts and cuts like a champ.

Fun fact: in C# there's a "DateTime" type and a "DateTimeOffset" type. "DateTimeOffset" is the one you should almost always use, as it can handle the shenanigans of translating an absolute point in time between different time zones. "DateTime" is the one people almost always actually use.

Whenever I look at code with dates, my first thought is "I'm amazed this actually works" and my second thought is "does this actually work?".

Bolting the truck back together with an aftermarket CV axle temporarily since I accidentally bought a 4Runner boot kit. I even knew they were different but don’t buy parts at 2am.

I got to the caliper and went to remove the bleeder screw to replace it with a larger/stronger Toyota bleeder and the cheapo 8mm NAPA one broke off. Caliper is junk now since I couldn’t get the bleeder out with an extractor. I was trying to avoid this exact scenario by swapping bleeder screws. One of those days.

Had some time to put in my passenger side LBJ today, @Tour991 you were right I just needed to turn the damn steering wheel to get that bolt to clear lol. Just weird I never had to do that the other 2 times I've swapped them, and only on one side. But she's done

Got a new dust boot for that side too after the old one got lost on the trail somewhere

What kind of caliper is it?

My buddy did that... we used a dorman caliper bleeder repair kit

Basically you drill a 3/4 hole into the side of the caliper, tap npt threads, thread this special fitting in as hard as you can with red locktite

that special fitting has a bleeder on it
