If you installed these in your reg cab, would the air bags light be constantly on because there’s no side airbags in the bucket seats? Or would there be other problems besides that?

 

^ There will be a light on the dash indicating an issue. If the seats had the airbags, there will be a tag located on each seat.

 

light will be illuminated, but that’s it? Other airbags will continue to work as normal? I’m just curious because I’m trying to swap my bench to buckets in my 09 reg cab. My bench has side airbags now but I don’t think it matters since I have wet okoles and I think they hinder the side airbags from deploying like they’re supposed to anyway.

 

They would illuminate the airbag light on your 2009 regular cab (2008 and older don't have side airbags so it would be a direct bolt on with no lights on the dash for 2005 to 2008 models). Besides the light on your dash they would bolt right up

 

Your wet okele should have cut outs for your side airbags

 

Damn, you’re right, I never even noticed the flap on it. I got a buddy that lives close to Kristys, I’ll see if I can set something up with him this upcoming week if you don’t have it sold by then. I’ve been trying to do a bucket swap for a year but nobody wants to ship to Hawaii.

 

I'm interested in your wet okeles if you want to do some kind of trade! Shipping might be a nightmare to Hawaii though unless you have connections with a freight forwarder

 

Pretty sure we can figure something out. I priced out a similar setup with a guy from Arizona a while ago, crated and everything it was gonna be more than what I was buying the seats for, but he sold it before I could ever setup a freight company. I’ll give you a holler this upcoming week and see where my friend is, maybe I’ll have him pick it up and crate it for me to ship.

Yes sir they have and have the electrical connections
