1st Gen Lunchtable Thread - General Discussion

I appreciate the opinion.

I figured as so but wanted to see what everyone else had to say.

 

It’ll be fine. My Nissan sat for a year. All I did was put a battery tender on it. No issues.

 

Some guy is gonna check out the 4R today

 

My Honda sat for a year and came out with some walnuts stashed around the engine. One of them settled into a spot next to the shift linkage that prevented me from shifting into reverse. That was interesting.

 

Because of "Americas Funniest Home Videos" and "Full House" I grew up watching more of Bob Saget than I did listening to Bowie and Prince.

 

I think you should ask for more $$$. Apparently this is what they are worth now.

Honestly you nailed the asking price. $12k is reasonable for all that you are included. $50 for an 2000 is ridiculous

OH I forgot to tell you.

So I don't know if I mentioned this, but the connector on the black paneled window switches and all don't match my Limited.

Got my black bezel and window switches from storage yesterday and brought them back with me. I intended to remove the switches from the Limited panels and place them into the black panels.

The switches themselves actually attach to the panels differently so I can't swap them over

If I want, I'll have to buy the pigtail end from a non-limited and cut off the current connector, and swap connectors over all to switch over to black trim

 

It's no 2-wheel drive.

 

Got several inquiries, but none as quick to want to see it as this guy today.

 

It can be, just don't touch the 4WD button

Oh well it made it so I could fix the roomie's car. Still appalled that it sheared the pin off and wallered out this cam gear so bad.

 

Factory bolt start to back out or something? That seems like an odd failure.

 

Probably lucky the engine didn't self distruct.
