Sounds like a good way to acquire some extra mod money!

Are you guys looking at an older 4Runner? Or new?

The pre-assembled hubs/bearings are nice! I had to do them on my '03 4runner. It's a bit of work, buy not bad if you have a warm place to work on it.

I've never heard of Vertex. I say buy whatever works. Post pictures when you do the installation!

New suspension RC came out with about a year ago I think. They have resis, they look nice but what I'm wondering is if they're rebuildable/servicable

I better look around! She had me do the Angels Landing hike in Zion a few weeks ago, afterwards I found it is listed as in the top 5 most dangerous hikes in America. Hmmm

You might want to start checking if your brakes have been tampered with before you drive. :D

It's a bad time to buy a car right now. Prices are nuts! Hopefully you guys find a good deal.

    Think of this way.
It's too cold out to be assaulted by mosquitoes

I've been sensitive to cold as long as I can remember. I have no clue why I remain in the north, aside from everyone I know is here. :D

@Taco-Grinder has a good point, though. It makes me think about how bad the no-see-ums are in winter down in Florida, and wonder how bad they get in the summer.. :goingcrazy:

The other problem with hot climates is you can only take off so many clothes, in the cold, you can keep adding and adding and adding layers....

I'll still take 90° over 10° any day of the week.

I tell people that in winter you can go the house and warm up and you feel fine. In summer time you go in the house and your still sweaty and stinky.

And you can build bigger fires

Of course in the summer when it gets hot, you can take off so many clothes... Then you can take the doors off your Jeep and take the top and sides off... :D

No. Just no. Midwest 90 is not a desert 90... I'll take 10 anyday.
