    I've got a slight popping on the left front and my cv joint is seeping grease very slightly.

    What's the consensus on 2nd gens, re-boot & keep rolling, replace with reman oem or buy brand new oem.

    Another option would be to cut or mill a V groove in rear vise jaw or both. When I'm back to work I'll try and remember a picture of some store bought ones.
    Tomorrow I have the dreaded ERO drill controller at work. The one that was postponed awhile back.

    If it making the popping noise it's time for a rebuilt or new OEM. If it was something you would certainly be trading in the future even a aftermarket one if they're that much cheaper. I've replaced a couple with cheap ones but just for beater vehicles that I knew were going to be short lived anyway.

    I'm not completely bald yet but just towards the back up top its thinning...
    My wife the barber, she thinks if I just let it grow out that it would barely be noticeable. It's just easier with it cut short, especially in the summer, and anytime at work wearing a dang hard hat all day long.
    I think that hard hat contributes to rubbing it thin up there.
