I tried the other ones last night. They're yum for sure. Cheese and peppers is really good! They're pretty small but that's OK.

I did a kalamata and pepperoncini garlic butter sauce for some chicken and pasta tonight with no pics :pout:

Although delicious overall, the butter did not cut the saltiness enough. Pasta/chicken/sauce - incredible; bites with olive and/or pepperoncini - too much. I might try different ingredients, but I know I’m working with salt bombs.

I’m thinking a finer dice to more evenly distribute the olives/pepperoncinis. Use less, let the salt cook into the sauce a bit before the final seasoning.

Funny, I did almost the same thing last night as a warm pasta salad but opted out of adding pepperoncinis because I had tasted it and realized it was way too salty to add anything more.

Chopped olives, hot peppers, marinated artichokes and feta. I should have cut way back on the seasonings

It's absolutely freezing outside so soup was required.

    Gluten free knoephla, specifically.

It’s the best breakfast sausage I’ve had, hands down. They only sell in Foodland grocery stores here. They are a Tuscumbia, AL company. You should reach out to them for some product sponsorship???

An old GF taught me the trick to making the perfect sunny side up egg.
You start frying it normally, when the white just starts to set add 3-4 Tablespoons of water to the skillet and cover it. I use a glass lid so I can watch it. Once the water starts boiling the yolk goes fast so you have to watch it. I take it out before I think it’s ready to get a runny yolk.

My brother used to do that in high school. He timed it to his morning routine so he could grab his pack/gym bag/etc. right as they finished. He’s in engineering and controls distribution processes.

I’ve always basted with the oil and butter it’s cooking in and enjoyed listening to the sounds of breakfast. I deal with workforce management and the employee/employer relationship.

We actually have discussions about this topic (always the egg scenario) and correlation frequently — to a geeky level.

    Food, amiright?
