How much RGB lighting should be at the top of the list. Everything else is secondary

My build right now has the window on the wrong side for my desk, so all I get to see is an eerie green glow reflected off the wall

I have 7 fans though so it sounds like a small turbine engine when it ramps up which is cool

 

I see the light bars before lockers crowd decided to show up. lol

 

Being able to SEE the rocks makes them easier to avoid. Checkmate armorists

 

Soooo what do you nerds think? $1,650 for this build.

 

I first choose the CPU, the RAM speed is usually complementary to the CPU. The motherboard is then chosen to support those, the form factor and chassis is driven by the purpose of the rig. The primary drive and power supply will be chosen to support the first two components' needs, the remaining ancillary components are chosen for longevity (water cooled). I like windows for display but never lights.

 

I priced parts months ago but when I hit graphics cards and saw the prices of a mid range RTX-2060 I said um no, my laptop will last a bit longer…
At some point I want a build good for X-Plane flight simulator.

Lighting - none to as little as possible it’s getting turned off whatever it has lol.

 

I almost shit when I saw the price of the 1050 in @scottstrong89 cart. Three year old tech selling for more then when it was released. That's nuts. lol

 

Its insane. I would have to go look but the 2060 is probably almost double now what I priced it at back then. I can’t really build for what I can get a system from the major PC manufacturers, they get cards at significant discount, that wasn’t true back in the day I could build cheaper then.

 

Yea they seem expensive. And there isn't much to choose from. No Nvidia anywhere lol

It helped me decide on components,track and trend component prices, check compatibility, etc. nice site.

 

Saw that. I'm keeping my eye on it to see what went down exactly. They almost cost me $45k during a several hour window where I couldn't exercise an option. They froze exercising and were selling peoples options in the name of "liquidity". I'd have been ok, but still, I wanted the shares, not the cash

 

Keep an eye out on EVGA on wednesdays specifically. They update their b-stock items. It’s how I got my 1070 8gb GPU for $250….in 2019


But there is still good deal on wednesdays to watch for on their site. Also use r/buttsha- uhh r/buildapcsales to help find good deals

 

That's what I'm using. Pretty cool tool. You can just order right there and everything comes from the cheapest source, mostly Amazon.

Looks decent. Depending on what you plan to use it for. My desired build starts with a better graphics card and spending less money on things like the case.
