How old is the fan pulley? In the early days of the problem, I had a squeak that was from the back of the serpentine belt rubbing against the pulley. It was hard to get a read on the fan pulley with the clutch and fan mounted on it.

In spite of all of the mud that got up into my TB pulley area, that part is running quietly.

Fan pulley/bracket is original. It's just weird that it was quiet as hell and now screams after a bit of water.

I'm just guessing. I had been doing a number of water crossings and gave mine plenty of reasons to have problems.

Yeah. Initial reaction was water got in pully bearings. The more I think about it, the more it sounds like the belt is slipping. Now I'm wondering if the water caused the belt to slip and ruined the belt. Will have to look a little closer tomorrow...

Mine would get better once the engine warmed up. It may go away after the belt dries out.

Tried that. Drove it into town the other day (15 mins each way) and it squealed like hell the whole time. I'm going to pull the shroud and belt tomorrow for a more thorough inspection of the belt and pully surfaces.

They're all pregnant or have kids and haven't progressed enough socially or emotionally to figure out that the relationship they got forced into after/during high school isn't healthy.

Or they get the hell out of there to try and make something of themselves and are either in college or a different state entirely

    That was, painfully accurate.

The bold, underlined denotes an ex of mine (no kids/pregnant) :bananadead:
