I kind of doubt I'll do anything to the coils with it although I have no idea what it would cost to purchase and have them installed.

Unless it's going to be permanently installed I wouldn't worry about it. Getting heavier load coils will make it ride pretty harsh without the weight of the plow. The weight will definitely kill what you do have much faster though.

Pulled the old way-faded rear flaps, scrubbed them clean, painted them black and applied new stickers. Decals are reflective for extra bling-ness.

Well, I guess we know something was wrong in the original transfer case (right oil). Looks like the new (83K mile) one (left oil) doesn't have any significant issues after a few miles at least. Time to put it to the test on a trip. :fingerscrossed:

    Fun, different colors (expected really).

I got the flange off, but the pinion doesn't want to come out. I put a block of wood on the other end and hammered on it. It moved some, but seems to be stuck. How hard should it be to drive out, or actually in, since it obviously comes out by going toward the center of the dif?

It's been a super long time since I've taken one apart. Im actually remembering that it's pressed in as the two bearings are opposite eachother in direction. So you can keep smacking it and it'll come out eventually.

Nope, not moving. I even put the flange nut on it backwards and hammered directly on that, so there wouldn't be a wood block absorbing some of the impact. The level of difficulty is now higher than my level of curiosity so I am done.

I had one that had to be cut out, but of course it was seized in the housing.

I think it has to be pressed out.

New lower valence, blinkers, and found an oem aluminum skid that was in the BST. Skids a little bent on driver side but not badly. I’ll fix it up later.

Swapping the seat bottoms on my seats. Didn't even know this was possible but for a tip from @turbodb

    Seat Bottom Swap.jpg
    Bottoms Off.jpg
    Bottons.jpg

Also took this opportunity to replace the driver's side seat belt clip-in. Mine was starting to wear out.

    New-Old Clip.jpg

As you can probably tell, these Wet Okole seat covers have many, many rugged miles on them. The driver's side was starting to show wear marks and tears. So I also swapped the seat covers too to get a few more miles out of them.
