Looking at AR's website it doesn't look like that wheel comes in 16".

EDIT: weird. The manufacturer doesn't list a 16in wheel, but Tirerack does. About the same weight as my OEM wheels, so not too bad.

OK Here is what I am using to put the 3rd Brake Light on the Soft top. The 10 ft wire with pull apart ends and caps will be cut to hook to the Tap located behind the back of the Brake Light on the Truck Bed and Led Light. 10 ft is plenty of wire to do this with, I will cover all exposed wire with the Black Loom. Just a short Pig Tail will show when the Top is off or folded up. Easy pull apart Junction to do this. Hoping the Cable Clamps will stick good to the material? If not I will put a little Shoe Goo under them to keep them in place to hold the wire inside the Loom going up to the LED 3rd Brake Light. The wiring inside the Loom will follow the top edge of the Softopper and down the corner to where the Pig Tail sticks out from the Tap. Attaching the LED is still up in the air till I see the Top on the truck and how it can be done the best way. Could be a ABS piece clamped to the bar inside or attached to the Material. Still waiting for the top might be a few more days it took another way to get here again?? I give up on that it will be here one day. My parts will be here probley at the same time I get the top. I ordered all this last night and there in the mail now. Here are pictures of what I bought and used.

Glad you mentioned it. I called the salesman to make sure he doubled checked. He and i see 2 different things online. But he did confirm his part number is a 16 by 8. So, i guess we shall see. I have a back up wheel in case these are some sort of error.

I'm surprised no one makes a softopper brake light kit yet. Then again, piecing things together and having it work and look great is kind of fun also.

Here's how I ran my wiring.

am Pro grille w/lights, black tailgate letters, black badging, 265-70-17 Duratrac "c", Rear seat platform,
I added the same tires in 265-70-17 to my stock Sport. I went with the C rated tires and kinda wish I'd gone with the S rated passenger tire. These things are rock hard on pavement which is where I do 95+% of my driving. They do handle quite well but provide a much rougher ride. Traction is good in snow and slush and they do look good, too.

I must have no sensation abilities. I cant feel the difference between C or E. And youre saying C is rough? Not being a smart ass, but is this your first truck? Then i could see being more sensitive to those things. Ive had load E since 2009.

I have found them to be softer in turns and more pleasant on the bumps than the stock tires at a similar pressure. I’m pretty sure they are basic C loads as well. I’ll have to go look again.

Doubt its the rating of the tire. What PSI are you running on your tires?

Good call. Do NOT put them at 50 psi.

    35 is good.

    i did a snorkel,
In case your curious how far the Templet had the holes off. This is it. Oh, fyi don’t buy the fender clips from Toyota. They charge nearly 3x as much if you would just buy them from autozone.

I have to admit that must have took guts to cut that hole and drill those hole in your fender to do that. Some lost of HP and Air Restriction in the Tube for Dust Control? They look cool when done but sure a branch would tear it off my truck if I did it. Not knocking what you did just I have thought about doing this on things before and decided not to it. Just don't drive thru that much dusty stuff fast. Have re/routed Air Cleaner intakes to stop water going in them crashing thru puddles on trucks before. Swamped a Air Cleaner a couple times in the past doing this and stalled the engine. Did put a Big Donaldson Semi Truck Air Cleaner on a Truck Cab once to pressurize it keeping dust out of my Water Tender Cab I built on Wildfires. Does not show in this picture but it was on the other side above the word fire and it still sucked in lot of dirt into the filter I needed to clean out after every fire I was on being that high and on the back of the cab. Everyone complains about the steering controls but nobody's taken them apart yet to figure out whether its a simple fix.

Sure don't seem like a simple fix...

Welp, I bought some on eBay and took them apart. So step #1 done. Now somebody smart tell us what it all means....?

Unfortunately, even if this mod is possible, the button can't just be flip-turned upside down due to its shape:

    That's amazing! Well played.

Wait, didn't somebody say that the RAV4 or some other model had the controls in the correct orientation? I wonder if the boards/button caps are swappable between the two.

EDIT: actually, it looks like each button is wired directly to an individual contact on that connector. I wonder if something like a 'crossover cable' could be stuck in between the connector and the ribbon cable, then just add a corrected button cap.

EDIT2: wait, no @Agem_89 is right. So it's built the same way they do the cruise control stalk. Crap.

yeah I took mine apart to do the same thing. Looks to me like each button press has a different resistance value. (Just a guess) if you could move the values around you could probably make it work how it should from the factory. But then your left with button images that don’t match the function haha. Need someone (mesco) to make a new button! Haha
