Gamble worked...swapped 3:1 from the $300's to the $280...
NOW it can go to $299 and I'm still alive.

Well checked up on my 401 from my previous employer. Had it split between TIAA and Fidelity. The last few years it looks like the TIAA account has been doing much better. Think I need to finally combine the 2 and let TIAA do their thing.

check out what the management fees are...makes a HUGE difference. Fidelity funds are probably 1.1% and TIAA is like 0.3...
ORRR...it's dumb luck.
But always check the expenses
