Another thing I learned from the doormen (stories), don't pay attention and that spring can knock your teeth out in an instant.

if you will note, these brackets where the rollers attach are not symmetrical. Attaching upside down puts stress on the connecting panels and side loading of the door.

Remains to be seen I bought the tires and wheels the rest came along
    That makes more sense !!

I was figuring how do you get all the rollers in phase .

I guess different Doors have different brackets I just replaced rollers.

When your Doors were cobbled together from a few different Doors it get interesting .

Yes I don’t know how my dad did it, but he decided to proactively replace the bearings, and they came with new brackets and I guess he didn’t pay attention. Don’t know where he got the replacement brackets from, maybe lowes or home cheapot. I found it by seeing a broken bracket eventually that he had just replaced due to the extra stress.

Not likely the issue here for the cables jumping if no components were replaced, I’m certainly no garage door expert. I know enough to be dangerous. One time installer of a jackshaft opener LOL. I spray my roller bearings with that garage door lube about 3-4x per year, if it gets more complicated than that Ill probably call someone.

As much as I enjoy DIY there is some things that’s better left to the guys that do those kind of work. My grandpa used to tell me, when you have a toothache, go to the dentist.

Wasn't to bad out this morning. Cold but manageable. Home from work now. Got a appointment to get the new tires installed. And a fresh alignment. I will have 2 used 255/80/17 Cooper st Maxx for free if anyone needs a trail spare. Lmk

    Good morning fellow Pennsyltuckyvanians!!

5F when I went to bed last night.....15 now. Gotta love these wild weather patterns.

No COVID symptoms for any of us so it looks like we avoided that bullet last week.

    Stay safe!!
