Can I run 2001-2004 Taillights on my 2000 Tacoma? Want to run LEDs but older models can't have running and brake lights turn on at the same time.

 

Worked on mine, just plugged em in

You can’t run the older years on the newer ones without changing a bit of wiring

 

so I'm good running newer style on mine then?

Worked on mine, only reason I was able to send my old ones to @JKO1998 is because the newer ones worked on mine

 

mfr I should fix my tacoma and put a set of fresh KO2s on it so it can be my DD again

 

really feeling nostalgic for the days of just shitboxin around

 

I reflashed the TCM on the Ford and it's no longer flaring into 6th gear. It has a 1000 mi rolling learning process and I guess it learned some bad habits to compensate for its low fluid situation. it hasn't blown up after 10000 mi of hauling ass up and down the mountains while low on fluid so I'm not too worried about it lol

I remember that on BAT. It sold for a loooot of money. Didn’t know the guy was local.

I have that exact same roll bar sitting in the backyard. I spent two years finding the right one, just never installed it.

 

Being local, you have to message him and set something up so you can check it out. Need to get a picture in front of that thing lol!

He has it as on the E side of 880 but those houses look like the tracts off of UCB

Took the belt completely off today and gave the front half of the motor a good inspection. Everything seemed to be good so I put it all back together. When I started it up, it sounded much quieter. I took your advice and let it idle in the driveway for a little over an hour and the sound seemed to go away. Going to let it sit for a bit and take it for a spin.

Must've just been wet after sitting for a few days...
