I am so pissed off some a**hole stole my tailgate last night. Checked parts with dealership and it's over 2,500 just in parts. Thank god for Allstate! This jerk off even took two other tacos tailgates all in the same night in my condo community.

Sux, bro! I guess this explains the large amount of tailgate adds I've noticed on CL lately!

Sorry to hear that. When you get your new tailgate, be sure to do the tailgate theft prevention mod...only $2 and saves future headaches

That sucks man sorry to hear that. I'd go check it out. It's worth a shot. Afterall there are alot of dumb people out there. What color is it? I know it's a long shot but I'll keep an eye out here. There have been a few tailgate posts here. Do those things have serial numbers on them?

whatever you do, don't report the posts. call the dude up, go check out the tailgate. if the vin matches yours, i'd just leave and call the cops, no sense in calling him out with just you there
