Front bumper not aligned

Anybody having this issue with their front bumper? I tried to realigned the headlight bolt and that didn’t work. Asked Toyota about it when I took it for service and they said that they can’t do anything about that they recommend going to a body shop. Any ideas? And yes I know it’s cracked a bit

 

That doesnt look normal.

Here is a few things that may help:

1) Check for gaps or rubbing next to the grille housing
2) Reinstall OEM lights (I had a set of spyder headlights that didn't fit right and it rubbed against the passenger fender for 1.5 years)
3) Remove and reinstall bumper

Here are some pics of my taco. I've somewhat removed my bumper like 10 times and I haven't really had any major issues with gaps

 

Theres a plastic bracket that clips the edge of the bumper cover at the fender there. Looks like the bumper may have been hit/buckled and then either broke the bracket with the clips or just didnt get lined back up and clipped into the right place.

 

Yep. Broke the plastic bracket when I did my headlights. Gotta buy a new one or it'll forever annoy you.

 

Yep, the bumpers and bed seem to be a little out of spec.

 

That front bumper looks suspect as fuck. Is that a paint run along the edge?

Yeah Ima just remove my bumper and realign it. I’m sure the clips are broken as well

 

It's from whoever did your bhlm, you? They tore the corner of the bumper cover.

 

Part it out. NO WAY is that acceptable

Not normal. Is this a new truck and your dealer won't fix it? Cuz that would be super messed up. There is a known issue with rear bumpers/bed's not being aligned. Had the dealer look at it first month I had it and they fixed it. Went to the body shop down the street. I didn't even notice it until week 1 when I was doing a walk around at home and thought "did someone hit me?". Very easy to overlook but once you see it... you can't unsee it.

So how come they won't do anything to help you?

 

This looks to be for second gen models, did that work for you on your third gen?

My bumper looks fine but my bed is not flush with the cab on the drivers side. It drives me nuts.

Damn I bought two and can't find anything. Probably best to walk into the dealer like I did. Told him I took the headlights out and he pulled them right up. Lol knew exactly what happened.

 

i ended up finding them 20 bucks on eBay
Or 30 EACH from dealer
