I might bite the bullet. It's not about washing it off - it's about washing the roads. I'm going to leave the carwash and then immediately pick up more salt AND it'll be wet so it will be evil. I might have to get an undercarriage cleaner for the driveway and make it an ice slick in the driveway

Poor choice of words on my part but yeah I'm not spending carwash money for it to stick right back on before I even make it home

    Where you at?

There's 4 different monthly plan car washes in my town, and before I moved we had one in town and one the next town over. I got my money's worth there but I get that some won't. I used to go once a week, more in the winters haha. They're not good for the paint but like - it was a mazda, not a fancy ferarri, and I've gotten to get pinstripes on my hood - so I'm not worried about paint on the tacoma

The only reason I'm not on the plan yet is TBD on where I'll be working in the next few months :spy: one is right up the road from work BUT if I'm not here long term, there's one closer to home etc.

Matt, my favorite self-serve place is the one next to Moynihan Lumber, behind the old bowling alley.

Anybody here replace their antenna? Radio reception has been crap and thinking it's corrosion at the mount which is common. Gonna test by connecting wires at the connection point behind passenger column

Yup, I had to replace the antenna base years ago (2016?) due to the base corroding to nothing, since I Iost almost all radio reception over the course of a couple weeks. It is not a hard job, the wheel well liner is a pain to get out of the way, so you can get access to the one bolt holding the antenna base to the inner fender.

Funny enough that's the one that was in Salem. Then we moved here there's a few but I haven't done it yet.

You have one on the front fender right? Or is yours a shark fin like mine.

They're a chain so they might have some self serves. The one in Salem was a whirlybird one though.

I need to get an undercarriage thing to do it in my driveway. Might do that tonight and order the under thingy too.

Anybody know if the upper rack of the GE Profile dishwasher removable? I have to mount it to the cabinets because I got granite countertops. So far my options are pull rack all the way out and work it like that or try to work though the rack. I would love it if a can get it out of the way
    Model #PDT715SBN3TS
Heard some yes and no from GE too vague for me
    Thanks

Some places seem to have gone a bit overboard with the road salt this winter. The dust kicks up off the road and sticks to even dry vehicles. Maybe we'll get some rain that will clear off the roads. Then I'll go to the car wash. Which will guarantee snow the next day.
