I ended up buying the vftuner software and a tune pack from @PapaRee so I could flash at will on my own. It’s not very complicated to do, just follow all the instructions and you’ll be fine

Same job, new house. The area is turning bad and I rather give my kids a future. It’s 80 round trip though. It’s not as bad as it sounds.

I love my new house too much to sell it. I’m gonna die at this house. I’ll buy another taco in 20 years when I can afford it again. Lol

I’ve had a 90 mile round trip commute from just west of Rockford to Hampshire/Huntley for the last year and a half and it’s so much easier than the 50 mile round trip I had from Tinley Park to Crest Hill. It actually cut my commute time down by getting away from the city. Fortunate to have a company car and fuel.

Switching jobs to an office in Rockford that’s 15 mins away and 20 miles round trip so I’ll actually drive the Tacoma more often again and won’t get killed in diesel with the dually now that I’m giving up the company car

My 102 mile commute wasnt bad mostly 88 and 290 to the childrens hospital downtown but traffic would make it sometimes 2 hours plus one way. Finally gave up as much as I loved being a peds nurse, the Tacoma was racking up miles / burning gas and I was losing time for honey to do around the new house and grad school bs. I’m a boring a** staff nurse now and took a few dollar pay cut but quality of life is 100 times better.

I’m not even sure what some of that stuff is but I might be interested in some if it if prices are good. My horde of truck stuff can always expand lol. Might be interested in the seat jackers, possibly some other stuff. I’m in Brookfield, but need to get over to Cabelas in Hammond at some point to spend some Christmas gift cards.

Sweet, I know how that is. Sorry I just saw this. I haven’t been on here as much now. I updated that post with some prices. I’ll keep up on it a little more. I was slacking for a bit.
