Get the reds. Not only would it look rad on the white but would make my clears more rare. :anonymous:

I’m in the same boat you’re in, I have a white trd O.R. with the morimoto xb’s. I went with the red lens.

The clear lens look bad ass it was a hard decision with out a doubt but the contrast from that clear lens black housing on the white taco would look funky.

I’m also a fan of the OEM look, so the reds closely resemble that while adding that meso touch with that awesome lighting design.

    just my .02 cents.

I went with red. Mine is also white and I think that red is going to give a better balance. I also expect to see A LOT of clears

I went with the clear lense on my quicksand. While I like both the clear and red, I plan on getting mine lightly tinted to black everything out so that played a part in my decision. I think the clear lense gives a more modern look too.

I know exactly which company, and I will never give that unnamed company my business, and will always try to dissuade others from doing so. My current Aftermarket tails had a blinker go out and trying to get it fixed has been on nearly 6 months now, every time I actually get a response it’s been “we should have them back in stock next week” for months. and still no fix. I finally just got a tailgate light strip with blinkers so people at least know I’m turning. Can’t wait for these meso lights so I can fix my issue.

Why not save your TW fam from the same headache and let us know who it is so we don’t end up there?

People can disagree. It’s all good. I’m not a fan of CaliRaised for many reasons and wouldn’t recommend them to anyone, but I also understand they have a big selection (and pay good $ for marketing) so there are folks that have good experiences with them. It’s all just info, shouldn’t be personal.

@MESO what have you found the clear vs red order ratio to be? What are the kids ordering nowadays?

Having lived through the Altezza clear taillight days of the 90's... yeah, I'm sticking with red.

You didn’t own Altezza lights in your younger days :p? I has some on my DC2 around 1998 but now have a strong dislike for clear tails on anything.

So if I place my order right now, would I still be in the first batch? :)

Unfortunately, no. That was my first car at 16 years old and I think I kept it a little over a year before selling it. It was the 2.5L (4-banger) and all of my friends and family had sports cars (lived in the inner city of Seattle)... so that slow pig wasn't much fun.

Hindsight, I'd love to still have that Jeep and would thoroughly enjoy modding it now.

I have a White truck, everything blacked out. Blacked out headlights, black bumpers, black pro grill with black letters, black Method's, bedside OR stickers replaced with black ones. Right now the OEM red tail lights stick out to me as not looking correct so I went with the Meso clear tails.

The insides are black or dark on these, so they look like they should come very close to matching my BHLM.
