Hey everyone, sorry I haven't posted in a bit, we're still here, a few things did happen but were still here making stuff, our CNC went down for a while, we were off for the holidays and we have been busier than ever in large part thanks to you guys so thank you! There's a few arm orders pending, we should be able to ship those out either tomorrow or friday. We have them machined but the screw we were using didn't work with the revisions we made so the new screws shuould be here today or tomorrow.

 

The new CMC arms are nothing short of amazing. They allow for more articulation, they grip tighter, and are easier to tighten with the new adjuster.

The increased articulation is very nice for getting the arm to rest on the dash which helps considerably with vibrations.

A+ product and I will for sure be ordering additional units. Thank you AJ!

I wish I would have got those new arms they are really clean… I just bought mine a few weeks ago but oh well still happy with my setup!

Hmmm... I didn't see it as a flaw. Although, once I set the arm in place, I don't tend to move it. I suppose if you're constantly adjusting them, it could be an "issue".

Glad to know you and your team are taking input and revising designs as you go.

 

Yeah it hasn't caused any problems yet and it actually helps the arms grip the ball better but we found a way to get the grip without the grooves.

What is the difference between the V1 and V2 dmm?

 

See above quotes. Basically the hardware was changed for ease of installation.

 

Thanks. I searched through about 15 pages of the thread, then gave up. I found a V1 for sale, so was curious about it. Since function didn't change, just install, that's good.

Got my DMM installed a few days ago and love it already! What a great accessory mount solution.

But we all already know how cool this product is, and the real reason for my post is to highlight TacoGarages fantastic customer support. I had an issue with the ball mount not threading into the mount location nearest to the driver, and within a day of letting their support team know about the issue they had a replacement bottom plate piece sent out to me. Problem fixed, good stuff!!
