What part of the truck is this? Is that an intake vent by the windshield?

10mm to move the windshield washer fluid tank to the side and 8mm for the adjustment bolt. Trial and error to get it dialed in. Now when I pull up behind a sedan the top of the beam output line is about level with the top of their trunk lid.

You wouldn't happen to have a general guess with a garage door, would you? If I'm like, 4-5' from the garage door, how much to lower them?

I would start with 2” or 3” and go from there. Otherwise if you have a smaller sedan parked on level ground you can pull behind it and use it for reference.

About what I expected. I feel they should be a little cheaper in price, but they will hold what I need them too. Nothing too heavy or crazy. We'll see how they hold up this summer going down forest service trails and other not so friendly back roads. I had to go out and get some more screws because they only come with the minimum amount and the drivers side one was loose. I was just trying to minimize the amount of space lost and these are easily removable if need be. They literally just lift straight up. The "lock" for them was a straight up joke. The top part locks, but the lock for the sides was trash and useless. If you are thinking about swing boxes, don't expect much. Tie down, recovery strap, and bungee cord storage is what I use the DS one for, and the passenger one holds a small bottle jack, some wrenches, tire patch stuff, and my compressor because I'm too lazy to mount it in the bed.

Cancelled my bedrug today. They finally got back to me, but I just felt it wasn't what I actually wanted or needed. In Montana weather without a fully sealed bed, I just see it being more of a hassle than it should be. I ordered the stock bed mat instead.

    Brand new.

Hollis NH is a nice area, close to major things that you need but far enough away from the crazy folks, plus they have a good winery there to drop your wife off at while you go wheelin'

Boy what a project to put a Softopper on when it is COLD! I even thought it was done wrong but nope I got the snaps almost all on then gave up. Took a picture and worked more at it and got the last snap done! I have a Heater inside it to warm up the cover. Need to stretch it more then fit it better to the frame. The material is too cold right now to do this. After it warms up all night and seats to the frame some, I will finish it in the morning. Sure did not go on like the Young Lady shows in the Video putting one on? Be a lot easier in 70-80 degree weather not 28 degs. Even if you warmed it up inside a building it would get cold again in the process of doing it. So I am 90% finished and tomorrow it will look a lot better. Cold the Material is very stiff and hard to work with. DSCF1038.jpg DSCF1040.jpg

If you saw how DIRTY mine is, it would make you cry.
Dirt roads get DUSTY when they freeze, and then MUDDY when they thaw the next day. It ALL shows up on the back panel!

ONLY 90 DAYS till SPRING! Then I'll wash it. (And the truck too.)

Got sick of all the sand and salt down the whole side of truck - Installed Rokblokz mud flaps. These I like. Hated the stock ones - they snapped off first time I played in the snow. No instructions but watched 1 video online super easy install. No troubles with them at all.
