MESO X MORIMOTO Full LED Tail lights

Yeah that’s why I’m not sure, my white taco Has a lot of black on it too, but the refs looked great in that pic with the other blue taco with the black bumper

 

Bear in mind, I'm pretty sure all of the photos of the red version that we've seen so far, are with silver internals. The final production model will have black internals... if they're anything like the OG taillights, they're surprisingly dark (deep red).

Wow! I just stumbled across these and pre-ordered.
The best thing about this I won't have to wait as long as some folks have.
Once these arrive my Stage 2 kit will be for sale. I'm sure we'll see lots of used stage 1 & 2 kits flooding the market.

 

Well I did it!


Chose the Red Lens, it was a tough choice. If I regret it after seeing some other White Tacos rocking the clear maybe some of you that want the red will trade? lol

Same here with my MGM. Went with the clears. What headlights do you have? Once these tails get in I believe my headlights will be the only chrome on my truck other than the seatbelts!

 

Exactly. The lense is not changed but with the black internals the lense turns dark and looks much better. I even modded some sets of OEM's and they look similar. Wont give up my OG's tho.

 

Same. That’s next for me as well. It seems people either rock alpharex or the trd pros. Don’t know what I’ll go with yet but that’s next.. Looking for a 3rd brake light drop again from Meso too. Thinking KC5 over Baja but TBD

 

Yeah it seems like alpharex is the one I always hear about. I just hate that price! I’ve got the Baja 3rd brake light from Meso and love it!

 

I ordered clear, and was unsure if I wanted clear or red. perhaps we may be able to trade if both of us aren't happy with our original decision.

 

I have no experience with cali-raised, so that's not who I'm referring to. My horrible experience is with Tacoma Lifestyle. receiving my initial purchase went very quick and smooth, so I'll give them that, but the assistance afterward has been very disappointing. they have responded each time I have emailed them relatively quickly but its been the same response something along the lines of "will be back in stock in the next few weeks". I've just given up as I should have these MESO replacements within the next month hopefully.

@no vtec 4me do you fix LED headlights? For instance if one an led strip on our OEM headlights stop working can you repair that for us?
