What kind of research? Seems odd that testing a truck for just rear shocks would end with the truck being crushed....

Not all vehicles get crushed just depends what was tested and also what the manufacturer wants to do with them. I won't disclose what company I work for but they just tested 5 brand new 2022 model trucks not even sold to public yet. But all them scheduled to be crushed at the end of the year.

    Are the trucks prototypes?

And are the shocks you are selling prototypes (for testing purposes, etc.)? If they are Toyota TRD PRO shocks from an older model year, seems unbelievable they would be used on brand new trucks for testing, especially if the trucks are not even a Toyota:confused:

So what kind of testing does the company do? Disclosing the company would help your credibility here. Unless disclosing the company will get you in trouble for selling shocks that your not supposed to be selling.

I don't do the testing or research that's beyond my pay grade. I'm just the monkey who takes off and puts on parts.

    Exactly.

Sorry, but seems sketchy buying from a guy who just joined TW about a month ago with a bunch of parts from a secret supply.

Hey I get it sounds a bit sketchy but it's not. I've been very honest with everyone that I sold too on here and been very quick to make sure that they got there stuff on time and everything is good.

People getting what they paid for is not what we are questioning here. Its your supply. If people were not getting what they paid for, then you would not be able to sell anything.

You do seem to be dodging our questions with non-answers though.

As a note, I already have pro suspension, im not buying. But I am looking after my brothers and sisters on this forum by questioning and kinda shady supply.

Would you recommend the bigger swaybar to be used with the TRD PRO shocks (fitted on TRD OR)?

Shit bolted onto other shit, and junk.
if all you have is the OR swaybar then run it as is. If you want better cornering or less roll in higher speed maneuvers then go for the larger swaybar. Try what you got first. I won’t argue any safety discussions since that varies wildly. I am responsible for only myself and my own actions and do not consider the swaybar to be a necessary component within my own risk assessment.

It would really depend on what you are looking for performance wise. However, the spring rate and valving of the PROs were designed for the larger sway bar. Swaybar ties the two wheels together thereby working against the principal of an IFS since they aren’t truly dependent without it. Remove swaybar for better articulation and flex of the wheels individually. Smaller swaybar will tighten up the front end and create a more planted feel in turns, curves or in higher speed maneuver. The bigger swaybar will exaggerate the planted feel even more so but allow even less movement at slower speeds. I personally don’t run a swaybar and daily my truck. I run a higher spring rate and stiffer leafs which compensate for this to my driving style. I don’t like the swaybar but that is what I am used to.
