Fuck yeah man. AIC is hands down my all time favourite band. I saw them live and they were better than on the record. To some, their music is depressing but they did help me get through some rough times, this is why I love them so much. And of course, they are very talented, their harmonies are awesome. The unplugged show really showed all that.

    RIP Mr. Staley

Of course, I got a AIC sticker in the back too haha.

That's Awesome. So many great memories listening to AIC in the 90's. Also, the outdoor adventures and exploring in my 1992 Toyota truck with them blaring. Had that same AIC decal on my 1992. Need to get one for my 2020.

Thats sounds like a lot of fun man.

Did you go to fox fest at deer lake by any chance? That was maybe 8-9 years ago.

I got the sticker from Amazon, like 7$. Do it!

Unfortunately not. Did go to the Burnaby Blues & Roots Festival at Burnaby lake tho. As an older Dad with young kids (Wife and I started late, having too much fun camping & exploring) it's hard to get out to many venues. As I love Jerry Cantrell, Sean Kinney I have a hard time accepting AIC with William DuVall in Layne's place. William is an awesome singer tho. However, that's just me being very sentimental.

Friends and I had purchased tickets in the 90's to see Alice in Chains with Metallica in Vancouver. Unfortunately AIC had to cancel due to Layne's declining health/addiction. We got a refund. Regretted not going to see Metallica but really wanted to see AIC.

That's a shame. Metallica is one of the best concerts you'll ever go to. Well if you like their music. They sound great live and they interact with the audience. They have a shit ton of concerts on youtube though.

Metallica was amazing when I saw them live. All I paid was 5$. They were sold out so quick so they felt bad and did a show next day for 5$ and I believe they donated all this money to charity. Lost my voice for couple days after that show hah.

Metallica is definitely one of the best bands in the world.

Yeah Layne was definitely better, but hey I’m just happy they are still together and making great music. It is a bit weird watching them play with William but they still kick ass and I’m glad he doesn’t try to be like Layne. He does his own thing.

Yeah we are late starters too haha. She is 34 and I’m 33, no kids yet. Don’t wanna wait much longer though.
