There are some folks parting out old Subarus around here too... https://cosprings.craigslist.org/search/pts?query=brat

A Brat seems like a lot of fun.

We're you looking for just switches? I got these 4R switch plates that I'm only going to rob the mirror control switch from and fab it in the hole where the stock ECT switch goes.. I don't need anything else and will direct it for you if you want 20220113_133935.jpg 20220113_133941.jpg

Yeah it’s been fun helping the guy. Just rough that he is more into cosmetics than mechanically repairing the thing. It has Texas farm truck plates and dents in the sides from cows brushing up against it.

His grandfather left 13 Brats behind when he passed but half are probably just parts cars. And no way is any of their suspension good.

I miss the versions of Windows NT that still had some DEC VMS code in it. Oooops.. Well, at least it worked and was ported to a number of RISC platforms.

Add memory, it's cheaper than therapy.

    update: I gave up again

Still chasing that no spark issue. Now I have a weird continuity issue on the coil and the igniter.

I’m looking for a 240z as my next project. I’d love to do a 2JZ swap.

If I can’t chase this spark issue down, I know someone with a Nistune harness. Because frankly I’ve tried everything else.

PLC programming, so yeah kinda fun.

No. Unlike him, I enjoy life outside of work. I work a few hours of OT a week, but I wont kill myself because were short staffed.

I have a reputation here at work as being the guy thats out the door right at 5 o'clock. A lot of people here work crazy hours, I don't get why. Not to mention they don't clock overtime for salary employees here, at least none that I've ever seen. Pretty sure its actually illegal in CA to do that lol.

I'll stay late if its needed and I'm given a heads up about it, but definitely not when its sprung on me at the end of the day
