Yes, in order to use the smart tap flasher it cannot have daytime running lights so you essentially take the module out and replace it with an actual flasher. You’re still left with the marker lights up front on either side.

It's a limitation in the flasher design that it doesn't support DTRL + Partial tap for lane change blinking. I think it's the same problem that keeps you from being able to use switchback blinkers, but don't quote me on that.

Same difference as going from incandescent turn signals to LED turn signals - if you don't want to install the resistors in-line with the bulb connectors, then you need to swap the flasher out because a thermal flasher relay gives you hyperflash with the relatively low draw of LEDs, but a timed flasher relay doesn't care.

Little bit of this and that
Looks pretty close to the GM one that I've been running for a while. Haven't had any issues and am consistently charging ~14.3- 14.6v

So if y’all are following me here, don’t expect you too, lol, after I had my truck rust proofed by Krown I went ahead and purchased all the components Toyota uses to plug the frame after they do their rust proof treatment (couldn’t afford Toyota’s treatment $1000.00 price) and will have a Toyota technician install the many frame plugs in the near future. My frame is still oozing with the fluid film that Krown uses so it’s the perfect time to entomb my frame so to speak.
see parts numbers and prices down below, the plugging job (that’s what she said:eek:) is running me $200.00.
I missed the service deadline so I’ll bite the bullet on this one as long as my lil Darlin benifits:thumbsup:3E14CCC0-3A7B-4350-97FE-2801CF3643B1.jpg

Filling up later and adding the Techron - have a highway drive in the morning.
Still need to get the tires rotated - I don't have the tools for that.

Installed new head lights and drained/ changed my rear diff fluid. I used Castro 80w-90 Limited Slip oil. Should I go back and add the LSD oil (I guess it’s a friction modifier)? Or will the oil I bought suffice? Couldn’t find much on that…image.jpg

I'm tired, I had to read that three times before I realized you didn't say "I installed new headlights and filled them with 80w-90 diff fluid."

They're all oem parts there's a post out there with the part numbers, I'll link it when I find it. It's a bit pricy but we'll worth the look and not having to worry about scratching off black paint.

Yeah your photo looks great, I'll search around for the thread as well. Definitely be alot better in black and worth the price.
